Dr. JoAnn Rajah
Consultant Pediatrician
Dr. JoAnn Rajah is a child specialist that provides pediatric care for babies and children. Having trained and worked in four hospitals for more than 10 years, Dr. JoAnn is familiar with the range of medical conditions, medical management, and vaccination practices in Malaysia.
Dr. JoAnn completed her medical degree from Melaka-Manipal Medical College (Manipal University) in the year 2008. She successfully attained her MRCPCH degree from the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health UK in 2017. She is also a certified Early Nutrition Specialist since early this year.
Dr. Soo Hui Fang

Dr. Soo has dedicated herself to the noble task of caring for children for over a decade, embodying a passion and commitment to their well-being. With more than ten years of experience as a General Pediatrician, she has nurtured a profound understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by children and their families. Her extensive tenure in the field has provided her with invaluable insights into the intricacies of pediatric healthcare, allowing her to navigate a diverse array of medical conditions with precision and expertise.
General Pediatrician with more than 10 years of experience in this field. Graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2010 and Membership of Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH) UK in 2018
Ms. Cheong Siew Man
Nutritionist
With 12 years under her belt as a researcher and nutrition educator at the Ministry of Health Malaysia, she’s practically a pro.
Ms. Cheong’s passion in mother and child nutrition. She is your go-to guru for all things related to helping pregnant moms, newborns, and toddlers eat right and live well.
Armed with her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Universiti Putra Malaysia, she’s all about making healthy eating fun and easy for families. Whether it’s whipping up delicious meal plans or sharing handy tips, Ms. Cheong is here to help families everywhere thrive with good food and good vibes!
Ms. Chan Chia Wei
Clinical Psychologist
Ms. Chan Chia Wei is a licensed Clinical Psychologist registered with the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council (MAHPC). She holds a Master of Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) from Taylor’s University.
With a warm, empathetic approach, Ms. Chan is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and families through emotional and behavioral challenges. Her clinical expertise includes working with anxiety, mood disorders, behavioral difficulties, and parenting concerns.
Ms. Chan offers comprehensive psychological assessments and evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Sandtray therapy. She also provides Parental Management Training (PMT) to empower caregivers with practical tools and emotional support.
Fluent in English, Mandarin, Malay, Hokkien, and Cantonese, Ms. Chan is committed to creating a safe, inclusive space for clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Shazatul Yusoff

Shazatul mostly known as Shaz is one of the clinic assistants in Firststep Child Specialist Clinic. She is cheerful, friendly and a responsible person. Shazatul has six years of experience in working with kids from all ages in which she gains her knowledge on how to handle and communicate especially with kids.

Hazirah is a dedicated and compassionate licensed nurse with over ten years of invaluable experience specializing in pediatric care. Her journey in nursing has been marked by a deep commitment to serving the needs of her young patients and their families.

Clinic Assistant
Completed her degree in Science Biomolecular at University Technology Mara. Nadia is soft spoken and down to earth. Nadia has experienced in working at a clinical setting and has a wide background in attending patients.
Allysha
Clinic Assistant
Completed her degree in Psychology specializing in Clinical Psychology at University of Sheffield, UK. She’s expanding her experience in working with children as she is pursuing her Masters in Children Psychology. Allysha is hardworking and dedicated to raise the standards in the healthcare of children’s mental well being in this country.
