Our Philosophy

Welcome to Firststep Child Specialist Clinic. Our goal is to provide exceptional pediatric care in a playful, warm and nurturing environment. We believe in open communication between parents and physicians. The physician-parent relationship works best if we understand each others needs and expectations. Our main objective is not only to treat children sickness but to also be aware of preventive measures to be taken so as to reduce the need of visiting a physician.

We strive to keep your child healthy, happy, and safe by adhering to the pediatric clinical practicing guideline set by the MOH and we adhere to their immunization schedule. We also make it a priority stay up to date on all new recommendations and research. By promoting good nutrition, an active lifestyle as well as highlighting the importance of immunizations, we trust that your child will be in excellent care.

Our Organization

We aim to provide the best care in town for children of all ages. In unison with our pediatrician and clinic staffs, our focus is on more than just the physical elements of health. We also prioritize psychological well-being, care and prevention of illness, nutrition, growth and developmental progress of a child. Dr. JoAnn Rajah has extensive experience, both professionally and personally with breastfeeding.
